초록

본 연구는 도시재생 과정에서 주민참여의 중요성과 활성화 방안을 다룬다. 주민참여는 도시재생
프로젝트의 성공에 필수적인 요소로, 지역사회의 요구와 우선순위를 반영하며 프로젝트의 수용성과
지속 가능성을 높이는 데 기여한다. 본 연구는 문헌 조사를 통해 주민참여 촉진을 위한 전략, 커뮤니티
기반 접근법, 디지털 도구의 활용 등 다양한 활성화 방안을 검토하고, 주민참여 과정에서의 도전 과제
와 장애물을 식별한다. 또한, 효과적인 주민참여를 위한 정책 제안과 미래 지향적 도시재생을 위한 전
략을 제시한다. 연구의 한계와 향후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하며, 다양한 문화적 및 경제적 배경을 가진
지역에서의 주민참여 전략의 적용성과 효과성을 추가로 탐구할 필요성을 강조한다.

This study addresses the importance and activation strategies of public
participation in the urban regeneration process. Public participation is a crucial element
for the success of urban regeneration projects, reflecting the needs and priorities of the
community, and contributing to the project's acceptability and sustainability. Through
literature review, this research examines various activation strategies such as strategies
to encourage public participation, community-based approaches, and the use of digital
tools, and identifies challenges and obstacles in the public participation process.
Furthermore, it presents policy recommendations for effective public participation and
strategies for future-oriented urban regeneration. The study discusses limitations and
future research directions, emphasizing the need for further exploration of the
applicability and effectiveness of public participation strategies in regions with diverse
cultural and economic backgrounds.
