Cognitive warfare is an aspect of warfare that attempts to achieve strategic objectives by influencing human perception. In the Kargil War, India used cognitive warfare to inform the international community, including the United States, that Pakistan was supporting terrorist organizations and had illegally invaded Indian territory. Ukraine is using bilingual English and Ukrainian social media accounts to communicate with the Ukrainian people and the international community, from the president down to troops in the field. Ukraine is also building trust by posting pictures and reports from the battlefield at set times each day to counter Russian fake news. The study draws implications by comparing and contrasting India's cognitive war against Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil War with Ukraine's cognitive war against Russia in 2022, nearly 30 years later.참고문헌 (0)
