21세기 중국 주도의 저고도 경제가 본격화되면서 대형 카고 드론 산업이 급속히 성장하고 있다. 본 연구는 Porter 5-Force 모델을 경제안보 분야에 적용하여 대형 카고 드론의 확산이 공군 후방물 류 체계와 경제안보에 미치는 함의를 체계적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 공급업체의 협상력과 기존 경쟁자 간의 경쟁 강도가 매우 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 특히 핵심 부품의 중국 의존도가 70% 이상 에 달해 심각한 공급망 위험을 내포하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이에 따라 기술 주권 확보, 공급망 다각 화, 산업 생태계 구축, 안보 체계 강화의 네 가지 축으로 구성된 정책 대안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 Porter 5-Force 모델의 경제안보 적용이라는 방법론적 혁신을 통해 향후 첨단 기술 분야의 경제안보 연구에 새로운 분석틀을 제공한다는 점에서 학술적 기여도가 높다.

The rapid growth of China-led low-altitude economy in the 21st century has accelerated the expansion of large cargo drone industries. This study systematically analyzes the implications of large cargo drone proliferation on military rear logistics systems and economic security by applying Porter’s Five Forces model to the economic security domain. The analysis reveals that supplier bargaining power and competitive rivalry intensity are at very high levels, with particularly concerning findings that over 70% dependence on Chinese suppliers for critical components poses serious supply chain vulnerabilities. Accordingly, this research proposes policy alternatives structured around four pillars: technological sovereignty, supply chain diversification, industrial ecosystem development, and security system enhancement. The study makes significant academic contributions by providing a novel analytical framework for economic security research in advanced technology sectors through the methodological innovation of applying Porter’s Five Forces model to economic security analysis. The findings suggest urgent needs for diversifying supply sources and strengthening indigenous technological capabilities to mitigate potential security risks in the evolving low-altitude economy landscape.
