Today, it is necessary to research and develop leadership in the Battle ofJangjinho, which has been in a truce for more than 70 years and has made it impossible
for the Republic of Korea facing a demographic cliff. The purpose of this study is to
analyze the leadership effect in the Battle of Jangjinho through transformational
leadership and draw policy implications. As a result of the study, in the Battle of
Jangjinho, the process of fundamentally changing the consciousness and behavior of
leaders was well explained, and the principles of transformational leadership worked
well, such as successfully leading the withdrawal operation.
