본 연구는 변화하는 해양안보환경 속에서 대한민국 해군의 해양력 증강 방안을 제시한다. 대한 민국은 반도국가로서 경제와 안보 모든 측면에서 해양에 크게 의존하고 있으며, 주변 해양강국들의 군 사력 증강과 해양분쟁 가능성 증대는 해군력 강화의 필요성을 더욱 부각시키고 있다. 본 연구는 대양 해군 건설의 역사적 배경과 현황을 분석하고, 전력증강의 우선순위, 잠수함 전력의 중요성, 해양전략 개념 정립의 필요성을 중심으로 해양력 증강 방안을 제언한다. 특히 한국형 대양해군 건설을 위한 실 질적 방안과 미래 해양안보 위협에 대응할 수 있는 전략적 방향을 제시한다.

This study proposes strategies for strengthening the ROK Navy's maritime power in response to the changing maritime security environment. As a peninsular state, South Korea is highly dependent on the sea for both economic and security purposes, while the naval buildup of neighboring maritime powers and increasing maritime disputes underscore the urgent need to enhance naval capabilities. The study examines the historical background and current state of blue-water navy development, recommending priorities for force enhancement, submarine capability development, and establishment of maritime strategic doctrine. It offers practical approaches for building a Korean blue-water navy and strategic directions for addressing future maritime security challenges.
